Refund & Deposit Policy
Plain rules for deposits, cancellations and refunds.
What the deposit does
Your deposit takes the exact vehicle off the market and counts toward the purchase price. The percentage (or fixed amount, where shown on a listing) is displayed before you pay.
Cooling-off
Cancel within 48 hours of paying the deposit, for any reason, and we refund it in full to your original payment method within 5 business days.
Cancelling later
If you cancel after 48 hours but before the vehicle is dispatched, we refund the deposit minus a re-listing fee of 10% of the deposit, reflecting the time the vehicle was held off the market.
If we cancel
If we cannot deliver the vehicle as listed — for example a fault is found in pre-delivery checks or a listing error is discovered — you receive a full refund of everything paid, or the option of an alternative vehicle, at your choice.
After delivery
Vehicles are sold as inspected and described. If the delivered vehicle materially differs from its listing, note it on the delivery report and contact us within 48 hours — we will correct the issue, renegotiate or unwind the sale. Ordinary wear consistent with the vehicle’s age and mileage is not a defect.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the payment method used for the deposit. Bank processing usually takes 3–10 business days depending on your bank.
